AB de Villiers lauded Yashasvi Jaiswal’s calm demeanor and his ability to handle both pace and spin with ease.
AB de Villiers said, “He’s got a lot of time. He’s a good, tall left-armer, pace won’t bother him. He’s got the time to make decisions and plays, against both pace and spin. He’s a very talented young player, a very attractive prospect for Team India for the future and I’m happy to see him score a century in that match.”
Yashasvi Jaiswal will now hope to continue this performance and give India a similar start in the second Test starting in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
