Following the Supreme Court order, producer Vipul Shah urged the chief minister to watch the film with the film’s team and discuss his “criticisms”. He added that the law and order situation was just an “excuse”. He further said that when the film was screened in the state for 3.5 days (before the ban), there was not a single incident. Therefore, according to him, there was no possibility of any incident. Vipul said that the Supreme Court has rejected the excuse and people of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu can now enjoy the film. “With folded hands,” he said, “he would like CM Mamta Didi to watch the film and share with her if she finds anything.” “We would like to hear all their valid criticisms and present our perspective,” he added.
