Updates: We’ve been using the Tiger Siphonista coffee maker for about six months now and I’m happy to report that it’s still making the best coffee my wife has ever had.
However, I will say that this machine is very finicky. You have to build everything properly otherwise it will not build properly. Luckily, after using it for a while, you get a sense of its quirks. You also learn very quickly that it’s worth dealing with the quirks because the coffee Siphonista makes is fantastic.

It’s also worth noting that the price has come down dramatically since I bought the unit. When I made the purchase, I lost approximately $700.00. Now, however, the Siphonista sells for $499.95 with an additional 20% off coupon, bringing the price down to almost $400.00. At that price, this machine is even more attractive.

I don’t drink coffee – never have. However, so does my wife. In fact, I often tease my wife that she is the biggest coffee snob I know. But, I am a big reason for that. About 15 years ago, I took it upon myself to learn how to brew the perfect cup of coffee for her. I made it my mission. Over the years, I’ve tried them all: drip, pour-over, french press, aeropress, vacuum… you name it. However, it wasn’t until I got to the siphon makers that things started to click.

When you think of siphon coffee makers, it’s probably true that those science experiment-looking machines come to mind, with glass tubes and gas burners that take too long to brew coffee and are very fragile. are (and tend to be very challenging to use).
But a few years ago, I stumbled upon the KitchenAid Siphon Coffee Maker. That machine really opened my eyes to how coffee is made and my wife loved the taste of the coffee produced by the machine.
Unfortunately, KitchenAid stopped making that machine. Over the years, our equipment started showing signs of wear and tear and no replacement parts could be found. It is with great regret that I realize that KitchenAid will have to change.
But with whom?
After doing a lot of research and searching for reviews (which were very few), I decided to take a big chance on this Tiger Siphonista, I say “quite likely” because this machine is expensive. you can install it Amazon At just under $700, so this isn’t a machine for everyone. One day the comeback got me a lot of credit and I decided it was time to take the risk.
I’m glad I did.

Tiger Siphonista Coffee Maker
Siphon-brewing machines use steam and vacuum technology to produce great-tasting coffee.
What is Tiger Siphonista?
Simply put, the Tiger Siphonista is a siphon coffee maker that takes away the complexity that plagues most siphon coffee makers. You grind your coffee, pour it into the bottom chamber of the device (filter already in place), attach the bottom cup to the central part, screw on the top chamber, add water to the top chamber, screw on the lid, joint Insert the top and bottom chambers into the main unit, turn the handle counterclockwise (holding the cap) to lock the unit in place, select your strength and acidity, and then tap START. Trust me, it’s less complicated than it sounds.

Your coffee will be ready in three minutes. Place a mug on the right side of the main unit and pull the dispensing lever. Add your sugar and cream (if needed) and enjoy the best coffee you’ve ever had.

No, it’s not as simple as an automatic drip coffee maker, but if you’re serious about the taste of your coffee, the simplicity can make up for it. And my wife’s reaction to her first cup from Siphonista was, “This is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had,” you can be sure this machine is a hit.
Alert (or “Coffee”)
The big question with the Siphonista is longevity. KitchenAid siphon brewers last about five to seven years. There were very few moving parts in that machine. On the other hand, the Tiger Siphonista has a lot of them, and the gaskets are somewhat fragile. I imagine, in time, I’ll have to hope I can replace those gaskets and all the moving parts will keep running. At the moment, given how new this machine is, it’s hard to say how it will perform.
with $700 price tag, Most people would not be willing to take such a chance. It would be at least a little more comfortable if Tiger would sell replacement gaskets on their site, but I don’t see any. My guess is, if something fails at Siphonista, it will require a phone call or email and hope the company supports their product. But with such devices, there is always the possibility that this may not happen.

However, if you (like me) are looking for the best tasting coffee, Tiger Siphonista Worth watching. I’ve never seen my wife so excited to have a cup of java first thing in the morning. Seeing how she is definitely not a morning person says it all.
