Khushi Kapoor may not have made her silver screen debut yet, but the younger sister of Janhvi Kapoor and the younger daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi already has a massive fan following. Well, the day is not far when we all will see him making his OTT debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. He will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. In a recent interview with Etimes, Khushi’s father Boney Kapoor spoke about his daughter’s aspirations and his plans for her.
Boney Kapoor on Khushi Kapoor’s wishes
Talking about his younger daughter Khushi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor revealed that when his wife and Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away, Khushi Kapoor was just 16 years old. He further said that at that time both of them did not expect anything from happiness. Having said this, Boney quipped, “Though Khushi may have these desires and ambitions of becoming an actress, we did not think that she would become an actor. As parents, we were just busy making sure that she studies well and completes her schooling.”
Talking about The Archies, the upcoming web series will be released on the OTT platform Netflix. Besides Khushi Kapoor, it also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson and Shweta Bachchan’s son Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina in key roles. The official statement of the announcement said, “The film centers on the iconic gang of The Archies, and matches perfectly with the youthful energy, hope and excitement of the sixties. Youthfulness, rebellion, friendship, first love, and youth.” A musical experience with adult everything, promising to have something for every generation.”
