Responding to the tweet, a user wrote, “Don’t waste time, go and make a film ‘Manipur Files’, if you are a man.” However, Vivek had a befitting reply for the user. He quickly quoted his tweet, writing, “Thank you for having so much faith in me. Will you get all the films made by me only? Tumhari ‘Team India’ mein koi ‘aadmi’ filmmaker nahi hai kya (But, do you want me to make all the films. Is there any other itna mard nahi hai)?’

manipur violence
The last two months have been terrifying for Manipuris. Violence started on May 3 in Churachandpur town of the state. The state’s Meitei community sought Scheduled Tribe status for itself, which was opposed by the Kuki groups. This led the Kuki group to protest against the Meitei community. Two months have passed and the violence is still continuing. More than 150 people were killed and around 50,000 were injured.
Recently a video of the state surfaced on social media which shook the entire country. A two-month-old video from the state captured during the violence shows two tribal women being paraded naked. He was molested by a group of men. The video sparked massive public outrage.
