In a recent interview with Film Companion, Sara Ali Khan made it clear that all the connections and relationships she has made in the film fraternity are entirely her own. She emphasized that neither of her star parents played any part in the making of those relationships.

Sara revealed that her mother Amrita Singh has very few friends in the film industry. Hence, the equations she has made with industry insiders are completely independent of her parents’ connections. She didn’t feel pressured to rely on her father’s or mother’s friendship to further her career.
He said, “Every relationship that I have established in the film fraternity has been a very free equation, which is great because I have never felt pressured to move in with my father’s friends or my mother’s friends. “
In fact, Sara shared that her mother has constantly advised her to chart her own journey and forge her own path. Amrita Singh has encouraged them to be independent and focus on building their own relationships instead of depending on family ties. Sara said, “She (Amrita) says, ‘Everyone has their own journey, and you should plan your own and that’s not for me.'”
