Srinagar: Sara Ali Khan started her new spiritual journey on Thursday during the Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir. Many videos and pictures of Sara from Amarnath went viral on social media. In the viral video, Sara was seen trekking through the areas of the Amarnath cave after offering prayers at the temple. She was surrounded by security personnel and other pilgrims.
The actor opted for a blue jacket, which he teamed with matching track pants and wrapped a chunni-styled scarf around his neck. Sara is often seen visiting spiritual places to offer prayers and seek the blessings of the deity. Recently Sara shared a glimpse from her Kashmir Diaries. He shared some pictures of his adventurous trip with fans on Insta. Sharing the pictures, he wrote, “When the soul is satisfied and the hamstring hurts. Befriending the goat again with the children. And then we drank the tea I love.”
Notably, the annual Amarnath Yatra began on 1 July. The 62-day pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave, the abode of Lord Shiva, will end on August 31.

Talking about Sara’s work front, she was recently seen in ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ opposite Vicky Kaushal, which did decent business at the box office.
Her upcoming projects include Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro…in Dino’. Presented as an anthology, the film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal and Neena Gupta in key roles.
‘Metro…In Dino’, a film whose title is apparently taken from the famous song ‘In Dino’ from ‘Life In A…Metro’, will showcase bittersweet tales of human relationships based in contemporary times.
He also has ‘Aye Watan Mere Watan’ in his bag.
A thriller-drama inspired by true events, ‘Aye Watan Mere Watan’ narrates the adventurous journey of a college girl in Bombay, who becomes a freedom fighter. This fictional story is set against the backdrop of the Quit India Movement in 1942. It is a story about the courage, patriotism, sacrifice and resourcefulness of the youth of the country. Directed by Kannan Iyer and written jointly by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer, the film will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
