ChatGPT users who were looking for an official mobile app can now get one courtesy of OpenAI, which is out today launched an iOS app For its popular AI chatbot. Designed for free ChatGPT users as well as paid Plus subscribers, the app offers the same capabilities as the website, allowing you to enter your requests and prompts and receive AI-generated information in return. But the mobile app also provides some additional benefits.
Using the open-source of OpenAI whisper speech recognition systemThe app allows you to speak your questions instead of entering them by tapping on your keyboard. The app will also sync your chat history across your computer and mobile device so you can pick up from past conversations. Those of you who have a paid ChatGPT Plus subscription can also use the app to get early access to the new features and tap into GPT-4 with its advanced capabilities.
OpenAI touted the app as offering a variety of features, including instant answers that strive to provide accurate information without bothering you with ads, tailored advice on specific interests and hobbies, creative to generate content Professional input topics to help you with inspiration, complex ideas and technicalities, and hands-on learning opportunities to help you explore new languages and other fields.
According to OpenAI, the launch of the new app has started in the US and will expand to other countries in the coming weeks. And what about Android users? The company teased that an Android version of the mobile app is coming soon.

On the main screen, you can type or speak your prompt in the message field and wait for a response. An ellipsis icon at the top displays a menu with options to rename or delete a chat, access your chat history, start a new chat, and tweak the app’s settings.
