Accomplished entrepreneur, Bollywood star, author, and columnist Twinkle Khanna’s latest satirical blog at TOI takes a dig at Coronation, a couple of desi fugitives and Elon Musk. ‘Mrs Funnybones’ takes a dig at King Charles and Camilla’s coronation ceremony by recalling a spicy bite of their bedroom conversations from the late 1980s. Mocking the cultural zeitgeist of our times, Twinkle criticizes the desi obsession over coronations, like a lover ex who chases former socialites to keep a tab. In an unprecedented move at this coronation, the Koh-i-Noor, the most priceless diamond with a blood-stained history, was separated from Queen Camilla’s ceremonial crown. While voices were raised for the return of one of the world’s largest diamonds to India, Twinkle quipped on their demand tinged with sarcasm. she writes that she will
Request our former colonizers to return not only the Koh-i-Noor but (as requested earlier), the two ‘priceless gems’ – Vijay Mallya, and Lalit Modi along with the loot.

In the column, Twinkle recalls the leaked tapes of conversations between the then Prince Charles and Camilla. Charles reportedly told her that he would be reincarnated as her tampon. She says children will not take it seriously to ‘be ambitious and work hard’, citing Charles’ ascension as a king who only had ambitions to be a tampon.
Twinkle also wrote about Desi Brown Munda Rishi Sunak and her mother-in-law Sudha Murthy’s recent comment. Sudha had said that her daughter had made her husband the PM of UK. While netizens slammed Sudha for going overboard, Twinkle is kinda concerned. The actress writes that behind every man’s success is a woman, who ensures his success by flagging him up when something goes wrong.
