Although the roles played by Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are well-known, there are other stars in the film as well. Here’s a look at the Adipurush cast and their respective parts.
Prabhas will play the character of Lord Ram in the film. Raghav, another name for Lord Rama, will be the name of the character. The director, Om Raut, reportedly changed the names of the characters because he felt that “calling the main character Ram automatically divines him in the eyes of the audience, while naming him Raghav makes him human and approachable.”
The main villain in the film is named Lankesh and not Raavan, played by Saif Ali Khan. He played the role of an antagonist in Om Raut’s previous film Tanhaji.
Sunny Singh of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 will play the role of Shesh, the younger and obedient brother of Lord Ram. Apart from this, Sunny Singh is known for films like Ujda Chaman and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
