Ahead of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Samsung reveals it will be improving the way ambient sound works Galaxy Buds 2 Pro,

Additionally, users will be able to “adjust the volume on the left and right (earbuds)” independently. Overall, this will give Galaxy Buds 2 Pro owners the ability to fine-tune their listening experience so that it best suits their needs. For example, one earbud may output loud, clear audio, while the other earbud sounds softer and quieter.
The company is also introducing a new tool galaxy wearable (opens in new tab) Adapt Ambient Sound, which is said to “deliver even greater clarity helping users better hear the world around them.” This explanation is very vague, but it reminds us of the adaptive transparency on the AirPods Pro 2. and if it is Anything like Apple’s featureAdapt to ambient sound to automatically let outside sound seep through to Galaxy Buds2 Pro at key moments. This can be very useful in scenarios such as when you have your earbuds in while waiting in the airport, but don’t want to miss the boarding time announcement.
Samsung says the update will be rolling out in the coming weeks. However, “availability may vary by market, carrier and (smartphone) model”. It is unknown whether this will be a global launch or not. The company claims that part of the goal of enhanced ambient sound is to “help the hard of hearing better enjoy the sounds of the world.” apparently, a recent test (opens in new tab) (a) The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro “show promise as a hearing enhancement device” organized by the Samsung Medical Center although earbuds are no substitute for an actual hearing aid.
