Faf Du Plessis Brings Another Match Winning Knock Vs SRH; Fans thanked CSK for not retaining him

Faf du Plessis has been in tremendous form in IPL 2023 as he continues to score runs and is leading the Orange Cap charts. The RCB skipper scored another half-century during the SRH encounter yesterday and helped the franchise chase down 187 in just 19.2 overs. He shared an opening partnership of over 160 runs with Virat Kohli, who scored his sixth IPL century in the same match. The win propelled the 12th Man Army to the fourth position with one more match to play.

Fans loved the way Faf du Plessis paced his innings and took to Twitter to praise the South African batsman. Some of them thanked Chennai Super Kings for not retaining him in IPL 2022 and allowing him to join RCB as captain. To stay alive in the play-off race, the franchise needed to win tomorrow’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The last four will be decided on Sunday as Mumbai Indians take on Sunrisers Hyderabad while Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Gujarat Titans in the last league match of the season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 186 runs on the board in 20 overs with the help of 104 runs from Heinrich Klaasen; However, they could not stop Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis from hitting fours and sixes from the start of the innings. The pair put on the biggest partnership in IPL history and helped RCB chase down the run with 8 wickets and 4 balls to spare.
