New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed over 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruited recruits through video conferencing. Addressing those appointed on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “It is a great honor to get the opportunity to serve as a government servant during the ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence’, when the country is working on the path of development. The people of this country have taken a pledge to make India a developed country.”

This means that employment opportunities and per capita income of the citizen will increase.” Hitting out at the previous government, PM Modi said that during their rule, the banking sector witnessed huge destruction.
“Today India is one of the countries where the banking sector is considered to be the strongest, but 9 years back this was not the case… Our banking sector has seen massive destruction during the previous government. Today, we are able to do digital transactions, but 9 years ago, phone banking was not there for 140 crore people. People who were close to a specific family used to call up banks and provide them loans worth thousands of crores and these loans were never repaid. This ‘phone banking scam’ is one of the biggest scams during the previous government. was one of the scams.” ,
