‘Project K’ is billed as a dystopian science fiction film about a futuristic reimagining of the Hindu god Vishnu. Nag Ashwin, director of the National Award-winning film Mahanati, is directing the project. Set to make its grand debut at the iconic H Hall of San Diego Comic-Con, ‘Project K’ stars some of the biggest stars in the industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha. Patni. The multilingual film has enthralled audiences across the globe with its promise of an unprecedented cinematic experience.

Kicking off the SDCC festivities, Vyjayanthi Movies will offer fans a viewing of the film on July 19 as part of an opening night party.

On July 20, the film’s team along with Deepika, Prabhas and Haasan will host a panel titled “This Is Project K: First Glimpses of India’s Mytho-Sci-Fi Epic”, during which the film’s full title, teaser trailer and release date will be revealed. The date will be disclosed. , Variety reported.

Interestingly, the stars will also be joining in to perform on the biggest stage of SDCC. “This special event will transport guests to India’s most ambitious cinematic universe with its captivating storyline, futuristic setting and film-inspired ‘spice punk’ aesthetic.” the makers said in a statement.

Director Ashwin also expressed enthusiasm. He added, “We are thrilled to present the debut of ‘Project K’ at San Diego Comic-Con. India’s storytelling tradition has ancient roots, with its epics serving as the origins of many civilizations around the world.” It needed a bigger platform to introduce people to such a big world. Comic-Con seemed like the perfect place to find the sincerity and enthusiasm needed for ‘Project K’.”

Scheduled to release across theaters on January 12, 2024, ‘Project K’ is set to revolutionize Indian cinema and redefine the genre of science fiction.

Apart from this, Deepika also has Siddharth Anand’s next aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan.

This is her second film with director Siddharth Anand after this year’s biggest hit ‘Pathan’. ‘Fighter’ will also feature Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi, releasing on January 25 next year.

She also has a special dance number in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawaan’.
