In the past, Google offered two variants, one significantly smaller than the other. But in recent years, the size difference has been slight. Still, there are some differences to consider. The Pixel 6 doesn’t have a third telephoto camera on the back, has a flat display instead of a curved one (this is an advantage IMHO), has less RAM, and has a less capacious battery. However, it is also a lot cheaper than the Pixel 6 Pro.
Camera performance has always been a pillar of the Pixel experience and Google delivers again with the Pixel 6 and its unique and distinctive camera bar that sits proudly near the top of the back of the phone. The Pixel 6 has enough RAM to make things run fast while the latest Android software is optimized for the Pixel phone experience.
Review: The Google Pixel 6 is the new workhorse for the Pixel 6 Pro
There are some unique Google experiences included in the Pixel 6 that aren’t found on Android smartphones from Samsung, OnePlus, TCL and others. These include the Magic Eraser tool that helps you quickly remove unwanted subjects from your photos, Google Assistant calling features, and Key Content You customization options.
