Alia-Ranbir, Katrina-Vicky, Ranveer Singh and others dazzle at the screening of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’

New Delhi: The makers of upcoming romantic drama ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ held a special screening of the film on Tuesday where several B-town celebs graced their presence.

The film’s lead actor Ranveer Singh arrived in style and was seen wearing a white sweatshirt teamed with colored jeans and sneakers. The ‘Ram-Leela’ actor was seen dancing to the track ‘What Jhumka’ at the screening and also clicked pictures with people standing outside the cinema hall.

Ranveer’s ‘RRKPK’ co-star Alia Bhatt arrived at the screening with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The couple was seen twinning in black sweatshirts that had ‘Team Rocky and Rani’ written on them.

Celebrity couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif also attended the special screening of the film in stylish outfits. Vicky was seen in an all-denim look while Katrina opted for a beautiful white dress teamed with black shoes.

Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan also attended the special screening along with her son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan.

Actress Sara Ali Khan attended the screening along with her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, who also worked as an assistant director on the film.

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan was also seen posing in front of the audience in an all-black outfit during the screening. She had come with her mother Savita Chhibber.

Actress Ananya Pandey, who attended the screening in pink floral dress, looked very beautiful.

Bollywood diva Malaika Arora opted for an all-black suit during the screening, channeling the boss-lady spirit. She reached the screening with her son Arhaan Khan.

Actress Karisma Kapoor also made an appearance at the screening of the film. She wore a pink blazer over a black top and matching pants.

Ranveer Singh’s parents Jagjit Singh Bhavani, Anju Bhavani and Ritika Bhavani also reached the screening and were seen posing in front of papa.

Actor Chunky Panday was seen at the screening in a blue shirt and matching denims.

Apart from them, many actors like Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Kim Sharma also attended the grand screening.

Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles and is all set to hit the theaters on July 28.

Recently the makers released the songs ‘What Jhumka’ and ‘Tum Kya Miley’, ‘Ve Kamaleya’ and ‘Dhindora Baje Re’ and the official trailer of the film which received a massive response from the audience.

The trailer took us into the lives of Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee, who have diametrically opposite lifestyles. While Rocky is a Punjabi boy from a wealthy Punjabi family, Rani comes from a Bengali family where knowledge and intellect are valued above all else. And they fall in love but soon the couple realize that their families do not like each other. Rocky and Rani then decide to ‘switch’ and live with each other’s families to impress them.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Love Story’ promises to be a complete, big screen entertainer that blends Johar’s storytelling prowess with an impressive ensemble cast, grandeur and music. There were many scenes of romance and fighting between the two, celebrating all kinds of festivals with their families and possibly even marriage.
