Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have reunited after many years for Gadar 2. The two had worked together in Gadar as Tara Singh and Sakina and the first installment was a massive hit at the box office. The teaser and the first song Ud Ja Kale Kava was released recently and it has left the audience quite excited. However, netizens are furious with Ameesha as they believe that she has shared a major spoiler from the film.
Ameesha Patel shares details about her character Sakina
It all started when Ameesha shared a still from Gadar 2 on her Twitter. In the picture, Sunny is seen crying sitting in front of a grave. He is dressed completely in black. After sharing the picture, netizens believed that Ameesha’s character Sakina might die in the film. However, he cleared these speculations and revealed that his character is not dead in the film.
He tweeted, “All my dear fans!! Many of you have been perplexed and disturbed by this shot from Gadar 2 thinking that it is Sakina who is dead!! It is not!! Who is I?” Can’t say but it’s not like that Sakina!! So please don’t worry!! Love you all.” have a look:
Soon after he shared his clarification, netizens started expressing their disappointment. One user wrote, ‘Spoiler de diya ma’am aapne!’ Another user commented, “Spoiler alert.” One of the comments also read, ‘Why are you spoiling the film before its release, people must have gone in fear of something wrong with Sakina, now you have reduced the viewership by giving spoilers, or maybe That you are just bluffing. Others were seen leaving angry face emojis in the comments section. It has become a topic of discussion on social media as everyone after watching the teaser was convinced that she has been murdered in the film.
The first part was released in 2001 while the sequel is expected to hit the theaters on August 11. Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma and will also star his son Utkarsh Sharma, who played Sunny and Ameesha’s son in Gadar.
