Sonakshi confessed that she had not thought about it at that time, but today she would not do such a film.

Recalling that scene, Sonakshi recently told Film Companion that the co-stars and producers working in the film at that time used to give more importance to her. However, “Today, where I stand, I would never do such a thing. Things change with time, I have also changed.
Elaborating further, she said, “I was so young at that time that I was not thinking in that direction. For me it was a fact that I am doing a film with Prabhudheva, I am doing a film with Akshay Kumar. , Jo kahenge aisa kuch karna ke nahi? Sanjay Leela Bhansali was producing it. Why would I say no? At that time my thinking was very different. Today if I would read such a script, I would not do it.”
Sonakshi Sinha also questioned why only women have been held responsible for such controversial moments and not producers and directors. Apart from the dialogues, the film was in controversy for several scenes which raised eyebrows after its release.
