Altaf was born on 15 October 1967 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Altaf’s parents aimed to give their son education and a successful career. So Altaf was taken to Mumbai for his education. But after finishing fifth grade there, Altaf went back home. He was later admitted to the Antonio D’Souza School in Mumbai. Altaf’s parents came to know that celebrities like Raj Kapoor used to attend this institute. However, Altaf could not complete his studies there as well. Altaf completed class 9th and went back home. Since Altaf was not interested in studies, his parents enrolled him in a class to teach him tailoring. Altaf didn’t feel like going there either.
