I think part of this dramatic drop in prices is because Logitech (the company that bought Blue a while ago), is getting rid of the Blue brand and will sell the mic under the Logitech G Gaming brand. Because of this, I would highly recommend that you get this mic right away. For the price (and considering you’re getting the blackout version of the mic), you won’t find a better podcasting mic than this. Duration.

I have used Blue Yeti on both Linux and macOS and it never fails to work as expected. It’s absolutely a plug-and-play affair with no need to install drivers. I used the mic with Audacity and had no issues with the mic.

At first, you might be attracted by its looks blue yeti, It has an old-school, sci-fi appearance and (I have to admit) it looks cool. Ultimately, the real beauty of Blue Yeti is the sound. You won’t find a better mic at this price. Duration. And although some people may prefer a headset-type mic (especially for gaming), if you’re recording podcasts, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a mic that sounds better than the one produced by the Blue Yeti.

It really is that good. In fact, whenever someone asks me which mic they should buy for their podcast, the Blue Yeti is always the first recommendation out of my mouth. This was true when it was my only mic and still is, even with my favorite CAD E100 mic (which is significantly more expensive).
