In a highly anticipated launch event, HTC unveiled its latest offerings, the HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro smartphones in Taiwan. The company had earlier teased these models, leading to significant buzz among tech enthusiasts. In particular, official teasers hinted at seamless compatibility with HTC’s renowned Weaver VR platform, leaving consumers eager to experience the synergy between the devices and virtual reality technology.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, both the handsets deliver strong performance. Additionally, with an IP67 rating, they offer superior protection against water and dust. The base model impresses with a triple-rear camera unit, while the Pro model takes it a step further with a quad-rear camera system. HTC has undoubtedly come up with a formidable duo that promises a great smartphone experience for tech-savvy users.

HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro price
The base HTC U23 model is available in Aqua Blue and Roland Violet color options with a storage variant of 8GB + 128GB. The price and availability information of this model has not been announced by the company yet.
However, the HTC U23 Pro will be available for sale through the online HTC Taiwan Store. It is offered in two configurations: the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at TWD 16,990 (roughly Rs. 45,500), while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at TWD 17,990 (roughly Rs. 48,200). The Pro model is available in Coffee Black and Mixer White color options.
As an added incentive, customers who purchase the HTC U23 Pro by May 30 will receive complimentary HTC True Wireless.
