Established in 2021 by Bhuman Dani, Monish Debnath and Saumya Biswas, Wickedgood specializes in offering a range of ready-to-cook products such as pasta and noodles, with a focus on the inclusion of healthy ingredients.
Prior to this latest investment, Wickedgood had successfully raised over $1.34 million (INR 11.03 Crore) through pre-seed and seed funding rounds. Notable investors in the company include Titan Capital, Mumbai Angels, NB Ventures, Dholakia Ventures, Venture Catalyst, and angel investors such as Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt.
Wickedgood gained significant recognition earlier this year when its founders showcased their brand on Shark Tank India, a popular television show featuring aspiring entrepreneurs. The exposure of the show fueled the growth of the startup, which led to expansion into international markets such as UAE, Singapore, Mauritius and Nepal.
Shilpa Shetty announced the partnership on her Instagram, she wrote, “We are a family of food lovers and are always on the lookout for opportunities in the fine dining space for you. I tried WickedGood Spaghetti and was impressed. The taste and The health benefits. It’s one thing for adults to love it but when my kids gobbled it up, I was sold on the idea. It inspired me to not only endorse the brand but also invest in it. I @wickedgud Excited to support them in their mission to ‘Unjunk’ India, one kitchen at a time.”
